Cheese Kunafah
Although there are more than one type of kunafah, which originates from the Middle East, the general method of preparation is the same. A type of unsalted cheese is placed between two layers of kadaif (undercooked dough in thin strings) and cooked lightly, and sugar syrup that is not very thick is added to it. It is the indispensable ingredient of this hot dessert, which is made from unsalted, white colored cheese, which is obtained from goat or cow milk, and extends when taken into the mouth, no matter where it is made.
